Trendmirror’s December Beauty Favorites!

Since December is slowly coming to an end, it’s a great time to talk about some of my favorite products of the month:

Laura Mercier Highlighter:

Swipe a small amount of this champagne colored powder highlighter on your cheekbones, the bridge of your nose and cupids bow to define these points. Try and keep away from the forehead and chin, to avoid an oily looking complexion.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eyeliner Crayon

I love a good smokey eye in fall and winter, and this palette is perfect for an everyday look. Pat the nude color all over the lid with a flat shader brush, and sweep along the lower lash line, about 2/3 of the way towards the tear duct. Blend with a blending brush until it looks natural. Take the warm taupe color and using the blending brush apply in the outer third of the crease and blend, to define the natural contours of the eyes. Taking an angled definer brush, apply the taupe to the lower lash line, but closer to the lashes and not as blended as the nude. Finish off with lining the tightline and water line the crayon and a touch of mascara.

TooFaced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer and Sun Bunny

It’s hard to maintain a glowing and bronzy complexion in the depth of winter, so I am obsessed with these two products! Using a contouring brush, apply the chocolate Soleil in the hollows of your cheeks, temples, and under your jawline to define. Using a small setting brush, gently pat the sun bunny all over your cheeks, similarly to a blush, to achieve a healthy, glowing and natural look.
